Last week, we announced our 2009 “Digital Graffiti” Call for Entries, and the story was picked up worldwide…
But what we didn’t expect was to see was our Digital Graffiti festival showing-up on the JumboTrons in New York’s Times Square!
In fact, the image of an Alys Beach business being transformed by projection art was reportedly shown in rotation for several days.
Hey–if we can make it there, we can make it ANYWHERE, right?
Stay tuned here for more cool DG news, and get started on your festival entries!!!
The deadline for all submissions this year is April 30th.

Author Jonathan Salem Baskin
We’d like to welcome author, branding and marketing guru Jonathan Salem Baskin to our 2009 panel of judges!
Jonathan travels the world, writing and working to help companies embrace the ideas and tools of the 21st Century mediasphere. He’s established himself in a variety of roles: as a business leader (he ran communications for Limited, Blockbuster, and Nissan, and advised clients on key projects, such as Apple’s iMac launch); a journalist (he’s a regular contributor to Advertising Age, Information Week, and Fast Company); and as a self-styled “chief heretic” (his blog, Dim Bulb, was voted a “must read” last year).
Jonathan is a vocal advocate for inventing novel, cross-functional solutions to today’s most intractable or challenging business problems, and is usually the first to question his own quarter-century of accomplishments with insight, humility, and humor. His book, Branding Only Works on Cattle (2008), earned him rave reviews, as well as the label “merry iconoclast.”
