2011 Digital Graffiti tickets on sale NOW! —>

Now through May 15, tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children* under 12 and available online!

May 16 through June midnight of June 10, tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for children under 12.

Any remaining tickets will be available the day of the event at the gate. Tickets are $35 for adults and $10 for children.

Ticket prices include tax and A&E fee. Online ticket fees are not included in ticket price.

*Children under 3 are free.

Call for entries deadline extended to April 18

Yet again, we’ve been amazed at the talent that has landed in our inbox for the 2011 Digital Graffiti Festival.  And, we’re hungry for more!

Digital works of art are being accepted for consideration for this year’s event through April 18.  Finalists’ works will be projected throughout Alys Beach on the cool white exterior walls of the town on June 11.  Free to enter, send your works to events@alysbeach.com.  Visit the official Call For Entries for additional information.

2011 Call for Entries!

The fourth annual Digital Graffiti Festival at Alys Beach will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011, and this year, digital artists from around the world will compete for over $10,000 in cash prizes:

  • Best of Show: $5,000
  • Most Innovative / Experimental Submission: $2,000
  • Best Local Submission: $1,000
  • Best Animated Submission: $1,000
  • Judges’ Choice: $1,000

“No where else does the architecture of an entire community become a canvas for digital art,” said former Governor of Florida Charlie Crist.

Festival organizers are now calling for submissions from artists around the globe for inclusion in the 2011 competition. All entries should be submitted via email as soon as possible to events@alysbeach.com. The deadline for all submissions is April 4, 2011.  There is no fee to enter and artists retain full ownership of their works.

Each year, video artists from around the world use the latest technologies to bring the homes and streets of Alys Beach, Florida to life.

We’re very excited to announce that the 4th annual Digital Graffiti festival will be held on Saturday, June 11th. Mark your calendars now and watch this page for more information in the weeks and months ahead. Very soon, we’ll announce our 2011 Call for Entries, as well as our 2011 prize and sponsorship packages. With over $10,000 in cash awarded to video artists in 2010, we expect this year to be HUGE! What an extraordinary and energetic event! Thousands of spectators were mesmerized by dozens of colorful projections last night, as the 3rd annual Digital Graffiti festival sparked to life shortly after sunset. FLORIDIANS WON BIG LAST NIGHT. Congrats to our 36 finalists and to our 2010 Digital Graffiti winners:

  • The $1,000 prize for “Best Local Submission” (sponsored by 30A.com) was awarded to “Eye Spy” by Russell Beans of Seacrest, Florida
  • The $1,000 prize for “Best Animated Submission” (sponsored by EBSCO) was awarded to “Inner Klänge” by Lemeh42 of Moterado, Italy
  • A $2,000 prize for “Most Innovative Submission” was sponsored by The Florida Governor’s Office of Film & Entertainment and was awarded to “Night Walkers” by Yandell Walton and Tobias J Edwards of Collingwood VIC, Australia
  • The $1,000 prize for “Audience Favorite” was determined by spectator text votes during the event, and the entry receiving the most votes was “Eye Spy” by Russell Beans of Seacrest, Florida
  • Finally, we’re very proud to announce that this year’s $5,000 “Best of Show” award (sponsored by The Alys Foundation) was awarded to “Void?” by Bala Boyd of Freeport, Florida
