How to Enter

2013 CALL FOR ENTRIES HAS CLOSED.   FINALISTS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON.  STAY TUNED!

Stage 1:  Initial Screening
Deadline for submissions is APRIL 22, 2013.  Video of your work must be uploaded first to www.Vimeo.com, then enter your information into the form below.

There is no application fee and artists retain 100% ownership of their works. Note that in submitting an entry, you agree to allow Digital Graffiti, Alys Beach and/or its sponsoring partners unrestricted use of your artwork (in part or in whole) for promotional purposes.

You may submit more than one entry, but each work requires its own entry information:
• Project Title
• Year Produced
• One sentence overview of project
• Brief artist statement
• Entries may include new or existing short digital videos or entirely new interactive work.
• Every effort will be made to play audio with the work.  However, not all work will be shown with accompanying audio.

Stage 2:  Finalists & Selection Notification
Submitting artists whose entries pass the first screening (“Finalists”) will be notified in late April. Finalists will be eligible for the competition on June 7-8, 2013 and their works will be displayed during the event.

Stage 3:  Awards & The Festival
The 2013 Digital Graffiti festival will be held in Alys Beach, Florida on Friday and Saturday, June 7-8. Prizes will be awarded in various categories, as judged by a panel of art and industry experts:

• Best of Show ($5,000 Prize)
• Most Experimental Submission ($1,000 Prize)
• Most Innovative Submission ($1,000 Prize)
• Best in Florida for entries submitted by artists residing full-time in the state of Florida ($1,000 Prize)
• Best Animated Submission ($1,000 Prize)
• Curator’s Choice ($1,000 Prize)
